This is just my assumption, but I've noticed that sometimes the x appears on clips that used to be fine before I made some changes, so I guess sometimes re-rendering clips that are fine can actually cause the problem. When I've had the red x, it's usually just one frame in a few clips, so re-rendering the whole timeline feels unnecessary. On rare occasions I use MBL in After Effects and I've never seen the red x there, but that might be just because I use MBL with AE so rarely.Дeleting the render files is one pretty efficient way to force Final Cut to re-render everything. I don't use Premiere so I don't know if the problem occurs with that too.

Could you please provide details on how to re-render appropriately. But I'm newer to final cut so i don't know for sure. I did try deleting all the rendered files, and I assumed that when it re-exports it rerenders the files fresh. The red Xs seem to appear in slightly different points, but sometimes at the same point, and for slightly varying lengths of time. I have tried reinstalling Magic Bullet Suite, deleted rendered event files, and reseting permissions and cleaning the registry of the system. Any information or suggestion is greatly appreciated. I recall that the others may have had a red X watermark over their trial too, but I donвЂ™t remember which one. IвЂ™m wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and if itвЂ™s possible that itвЂ™s one of the other plugins I tried is causing it. I have been discussing the issue with Magic Bullet Suite support and they have been suggesting things but nothing has worked. I tried out Magic Bullet Suite and then purchased it. I tried out Fx Factory and then uninstalled it. I tried out Digital Anarchy Beauty Box and then uninstalled it.

The issue has arisen after I started trying out some trial plugins. These Xs seems to be the same thing as a trial watermark. These red Xs do not show up in the timeline when I am scrubbing through.
